Reserves Coordination Committee

Did you receive a reserves order at an uncomfortable time?
It is possible to submit a request to LOTAM (Reserve Service Coordination Committee) to postpone or cancel the service!

How does it work?
If you were called for reserve service for 6 days or more, and at the time of submitting the application there are still more than 30 days before the start of the reserves – everything is alright! Just hurry up, its not too late..

What does that mean? that the whole process must be started more than 30 days before, so that you have time to submit everything on time.

Studying for your Masters? In addition to the above, you can only submit a CV if you have at least 3 courses per semester.

OK so far? Go start!

Step 1 – The receipt of the reserves order must be confirmed on the reserves website

You must enter the reserves website>> log in>> issue a confirmation of receipt of the reserves order. (The initial entry is with your military number and reserves certificate number/driver’s license number)

Please note: Only 24 hours after confirmation of receipt of the order will it be possible to submit for the committee on the website.

Step 2 – the required forms

– Photocopy of the reserves order.
– A reasoned personal letter, up to half a page long, in which you must detail why you are unable to perform the reserves at the designated time. Full name, date and personal number must be stated. (The letter should have academic claims only).
– A complete form and letter – please note – it is mandatory to send both pages, even though there is nothing to fill in on the second page.
–  A photocopy of a valid academic certificate (issued up to a week before submitting the application form).
– A printout of your exam schedule (if there is none – it is advisable to indicate this in the letter).
– A printout of the timetable (if there is none – it is advisable to state this in the letter).

Step 3 – Send the forms to the Reserves Office

You must send the forms to the reserves office, and we will handle them during reception hours.
1. Send the forms to one of the reserve centers
2. We will sign the Dean of Students, because we cant send it without their official signature.
3. After we have signed the Dean, we will scan and email you the signed application back.
4. And now it’s your turn again – the signed application from the previous section must be downloaded, saved and uploaded as an application on the reserve website.

Reminder! The application for the committee can be submitted only 24 hours after confirmation of receipt of the order on the reserve website.

Step 4 – getting your answer!

Please note ❤ – the follow-up of the committee’s answer is solely your responsibility.

21 days before the date of the order – it is your responsibility to contact the military and verify their final answer (especially if you wish to file an appeal). You can update the status of the application directly by calling 03-6553655.

The Reserve Service Coordinating Committee works to reduce as much as possible the harm to students called up for reserve service.
