Two Credits Program

The two points will be part of the total points needed for your degree and not in addition to them. In degrees where there is a requirement to study general courses, the volunteer/reserve points will be calculated as part of them. In cases where the degree does not have an elective in general courses, the points will be calculated as part of the elective courses in the department.

The law defines two ways through which we, the students, can be entitled to two additional credit points as part of reserve service or social involvement:

The two points will be part of the total points needed for the degree and not in addition to them.

In degrees where the student is required to take general courses, the volunteering points will be calculated as part of them. In cases where the degree does not have an elective in general courses, the points will be calculated as part of the elective courses in the department.

The two credits will be credited to the student, but will appear on the grade sheet without a numerical grade (that is, a “passing” grade will be recorded).

It is possible to be entitled to two credits within the law once in the degree, that is, duplication and receiving credits for reserve service and for social volunteering will not be possible.

After the conversion, it will not be possible to change or take another course instead.

If a student studied a general course (or a course in accordance with Appendix A of the procedure) and decided to convert it into the designated course, the general course she studied will be recorded as a “course not to be weighted” and will not be deleted from the academic record.
