Getting to know the IDF Reserves website

The connecting offices began to work regularly with the reserves website, below are a number of changes that will apply as a result:
– No more summons will be mailed physically. Orders will only be sent on the reserves website and an email will be sent alerting that there is a new summon on the website.
– A reserve travel voucher must be printed through the website, the voucher is for one direction of travel only.
– All requests to the connecting office are through the reserve website (change of personal details, request for a medical committee, for a unit transfer, etc.).
– Form 58 that was used to request release from reserves due to personal problems is no longer in use and an application must be submitted through the website.
– An application for LOTAM (Committee for Coordinating Reserves) must be submitted independently through the reserve website (click here for an explanation of the LOTAM procedure).
– Seven days before the reserve service it is not possible to submit requests through the website, in this case you should contact the connecting office.
– Confirmation of reserves (form 3010) can be printed from the reserves website.

Therefore, if you have not yet registered on the reserve site we recommend that you register as soon as possible here >>

Q&A’s

  • You can easily file a claim on the Bituach Leumi website, and we have even prepared a short guide to help you. If you still want additional help, you must come to the Reserves Office with a photocopy of your student ID/study certificate, and confirmation of the reserves (3010). In addition, you must fill out a Bituach Leumi application form that can be found on the reserve website or the reserve office.

  • A Reserves Coordination Committee is to ask for the postponement or cancellation of a reserves service, and this request can be submitted on the order of a minimum of 6 reserve days. The request must be submitted at least 30 days before the start of the reserve.

  • These are the documents that must be submitted:

    – Signature on the forms you received
    – Recommendations and their contact information
    – Work plan + event budget (including estimated schedule)
    – Green proposal
    – Sponsorship details
    – Presentations, explanatory materials about you, etc.

  • If you performed 14 cumulative reserve days in an academic year, you are entitled to 2 points and they can be usued until the end of your degree.

  • Service of 10 consecutive reserve days during the semester or 21 cumulative reserve days during the semester, or 10 cumulative reserve days during the exam period, entitles you to a third exam term in all courses taken that semester. It is important to remember that you must go to one of the dates (a or b) first, that is – there are a total of two dates for you to choose from. If there is eligibility according to the reserve regulations – you must contact the reserve office and send a 3010 confirmation, which will be forwarded to the department’s secretariat. After that, you must contact the secretariat to submit an application for the third date.

  • If you are called up for 5 consecutive reserve days or more, there is an option to get a cellular router free of charge from the reserve office. The order is made through the reserve website, where the full procedure is detailed.
After ordering, a confirmation will be sent to you by email. The router can be picked up and returned at the reserve office only by the person making the order. It will not be possible to pick up or return it by another person.

  • Entitlement to a summer course subsidy is given to those who have performed more than 22 reserve days in the school year. 30 reserve days qualify for the subsidy of two summer courses.
How do you get it? You must send to the reserve office a confirmation of the reserve days (3010) completed until the end of the exam period of the second semester, and fill out an application form.
Important emphasis: the benefit is a full subsidy of a summer course, so if you are eligible for the benefit, you must register for the course when the registration period opens, but do not pay! No refunds will be given.

  • Dean’s benefits (photographs, test booklets, tutoring, marathons) are given for days you missed classes (therefore Friday-Saturday and study breaks are not considered), and can be received until the last school day of the semester in which the reserves were made. The Student Union’s benefits are given for all reserve days that happened during the semester (therefore Friday-Saturday and study breaks are also considered here), and can be received until the end of the exam period of the semester in which the reserves were done.

  • For each reserve day performed at the expense of a academic day (therefore, Friday-Saturday and study breaks are not considered), you are entitled to 50 pages of photos/prints in “Photocopier” which will be given in the form of barcodes to be scanned in the crossprint application using which you print on the concessionaire’s printer throughout the university. Important, it is possible to accumulate days that qualify for the benefit only for the same semester in which they were performed. At the end of each semester, the accumulated days are reset and will not be able to be redeemed in the following semester, but photos and prints already loaded on the card will remain there until the end of the degree.
