When is the Negative open?
The cinema is open from Sunday-Thursday and Saturday night, starting from the end of Shabbat. There are generally two screenings per evening during the academic year.
Where is the Negative located?
Building 26, 2nd floor. The two cinema theaters seat 250 people each, and are used during the day as lecture halls. But when night falls, they become a cinema with advanced screens and an HD projector.
Subscription and Prices
Purchasing a subscription is possible online and also at the Negative kiosk every evening starting at 20:15.
The subscription is valid until the end of the school year and includes entrance to all movies and most of the events taking place at the Negative.

*A Student Union member must display a student ID with a valid sticker. A Student from another recognized academic institute must display a student ID as well.

The Negative’s Snack Bar
The Snack Bar offers hotdogs, popcorn, nachos and all sorts of snacks and soft drinks and is located on the 2nd floor of building 26.

Now choose the ticket you need and the quantity according to the following list:
– Student Union Member
– Guest/Non-Student Union Member
– Friend of faculty member/University alumnus
– Senior citizen
– Subscription (FREE)
*In case the event is free of charge, only one option will be available.
You will receive the confirmation and your ticket by Email. You will also receive an SMS with a barcode which will be scanned by the usher upon entering the theater.
You may be asked to present a relevant ID card at the entrance to the theater (Student Union Member, Student Union Worker, etc.)
