Women Wage Peace<\/h2>\n

Who we are?<\/strong> The Women Wage Peace movement was established in the summer of 2014 after Operation Tzuk Eitan. It is the largest field movement in Israel working to establish a respectful political agreement and today has over 45,000 companies and members.
\nThe purpose of the movement?<\/strong> To bring an end to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through a political agreement that is respectful, non-violent and agreed upon by both sides, with the participation of women from various population groups in Israel, in accordance with UN Resolution 1325. The movement is non-partisan and its members are women from the various communities in Israeli society: right, center and left, religious and secular, Jewish, Arab, Druze and Bedouin women, young and old, city and periphery. The movement does not favor one solution or another to the conflict. The movement has thousands of female volunteers who work in the structure of dozens of field teams and alongside them professional service teams in areas such as government relations, internal relations, foreign relations, communications, digital , projects, strategy, variety and more.
\nMaking peace every day<\/strong>: over the years of our activity, we have held thousands of events all over the country with the participation of thousands of citizens. We hold discussion circles, screen films about the successful struggle of Liberian women for peace, stand at dozens of intersections all over the country, participate in panels and conferences, maintain relations with members of the Knesset and public figures, and participate in various discussions in the Knesset committees.<\/p>\n

HaAchva HaGeah<\/h2>\n

About Us:<\/strong> HaAchva HaGea is Israel’s LGBTQIA+ student organization that was founded with the support of the LGBT Rights Association and Israeli Student Association. Its purpose is to give a roof and a home to all the gay groups on campuses throughout the country. The core of HaAchva HaGea at Ben Gurion University began its activity in 2015, and meets up once every two weeks, with special events open to all students on campus; HaAchva HaGea operates in collaboration with the student union of Ben Gurion University and the Be’er Sheva Pride House.\u00a0We will work to promote LGBTQIA+ and queer rights and visibility on campus, promote tolerance towards the LGBTQIA+ community, and fight against LGBTphobia within institutions.\u00a0 HaAchva HaGea will be an open and accepting social framework for all members of the LGBTQIA+ community studying at the university.
\nMeetings:<\/strong> The group will meet once every two weeks on Wednesdays, at 20:00 (8PM) for a meeting lasting between an hour and a half and two hours. Most of the times and in light of the demand, after the meeting there will be a group outing\/activity outside the walls of the university.
\nRules of participation<\/strong>: HaAchva HaGeah is an intimate social framework, which respects the privacy of all its participants. Names of members should not be published without their consent, and guests who are not part of the LGBTQIA+ community should not be brought to meetings without prior coordination. Members will respect the gender identity of each and every one of the participants, and will contact their\u00a0 language according to their request. HaAchva HaGeah will also engage in social activism, in order to promote the rights of the gay community, without any partisan identification whatsoever.

Maslan (Women’s Aid Center)<\/h2>\n

The assistance center for victims of sexual assault and violence in the Negev. The aim of the center is to assist, accompany, and be a source and basis for practical and emotional support for victims and their families. The center provides its services free of charge and in complete anonymity without distinction of religion, race, sex or nationality. Along with helping victims, the center also works for social change, raising awareness and reducing the phenomena of violence and sexual violence that are common at all levels of society.<\/p>\n

“Open Door” – Promoting healthy sexuality in Israel<\/h2>\n

Counseling and training for youth, young people and their parents on puberty and sexuality. The Israeli Association for Family Planning.
\nWho we are?<\/strong> “Open Door” is a nationwide network of counseling and training centers for youth, young people and their parents on puberty and sexuality issues. This organization aims to promote the everyone’s basic right to make free decisions regarding their sexuality and fertility, to fight for access to high quality information, education and health services related to sexuality, sexual identity, pregnancy, contraception, safe termination of pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. The organization also works to promote women’s empowerment and gender equality.
\nWhat do we do?<\/strong> Open Door is intended towards: teenagers, young people and their parents and professionals who take care of the youth in the community. The service is provided in 4 main communication channels: by phone, in face-to-face meetings, through educational initiatives in the community and through the website.
\nWhere?<\/strong> The southernmost branch, located in Be’er Sheva (Naamat Building, 93 Montefiore St., Gan Rishonim), began operating this year and is looking for students for outreach and reaching out needs. Training will be given to volunteers.<\/p>\n
